iPad

Alex used plywood scraps and wood screws with his tool box and a cordless screwdriver to make an "iPad." So far he has used it to call his friends and order pizza and play video games.
I offered to let him watch a movie with his sleepover buddy last night and he said "no thanks, I'm already downloading Star Wars Episode Five from the App Store. I'm going to watch it with Yannik on my IPad."

Fairy garden

"Mama, maybe if I decorate my fairy garden with the shells, the fairies will come and lay something special for me."

Blocks the big kids trying to play connect four. Peers through the game and grins at grownup a while big kids at "Alex let us play!"
"I'm winning!"


Gets head bonked by sissy accidentally. Starts to crumple and cry. Sissy says "what can I get for you?" "Some ice." Says Alex. Then after the ice "...and I think you have cookies? you can also get me a cookie." Then after cookie "and a brownie."
